Happniess Is You

As Amtrak is sailing down the valley long, I am reminded as I stare out the window are the corn fields (what I am assuming are corn fields, maybe tomato plants) that a heavy burden that was on my shoulders has been lifted recently. That the door to my joy is open again with the Reducto charm cast by my happiness (Yes I did reference Harry Potter, thank you!). Too many negative things happened over the last year that caused my joy to shrink and crawl away. Even after seeing my best friends, I would waddle back into my hole of seclusion and not be heard from again. Then, something extraordinary happened. I found myself. I found the release I had so long been searching for and it feels wonderful. A rabbi whom I had never met before commented that I was radiating with joy. Radiating is the term he used. I knew then, my time had come.

When I stood up to address the congregation Friday night, I felt a wave of passion and love over myself and the smile on my face was stuck in place. True happiness will pave the path to ultimate joy. Binding friendships will lead the pack to everlasting love. Anyone trying to push you off this journey needs to be kicked out of your life. This time on earth is too short to bitch and moan about what could've happened if things were different. News flash, things happened just as they were meant. Cash it in and bank the money and go out and get more.

My happiness is here to stay!
